The Prices
The prices are valid from October 1th, 2010 till December, 10th, 2010
and
January 10th, 2011 till April 30th, 2011. As we are celebrating Christmas with our children in Europe you can rent the whole house for self-catering. Please ask us for prices.
1. Bed & Breakfast
Price per person per night in double-room (minimum three nights):

2. Rent of the Myanmar (Pool) floor:
Per night R 1.400.- (7 nights minimum)
This price includes the use of:
- 2 bedrooms (Rangoon & Pagan)
- living room with dining area
- kitchen
- solar heated pool
The main floor or the whole house you can rent over Christmas or Easter
for selfcatering. Please ask for the price. The minimum rent is 14
nights. Please ask for a discount for 3 weeks.
For longtime booking (more than 2 weeks) you will get a discount.

3. Rent of the entire main floor:
Per night R 1.800.- (7 nights minimum)
This price includes the use of:
- 2 bedrooms en-suite (Singapore & Bangkok)
- 2 bedrooms sharing one bathroom (The Peak & Regency Park)

- solar heated pool

Our terms and Conditions
As we would like to make both your time at Tanah Merah, and pre-stay commitments as simple as clear as possible, it is necessary to make some additions to the general conditions of your stay. It is, however, important that all terms and conditions are understood before a booking is made and confirmed.
As our guests are mainly coming from overseas, and the planning of their journey needs a certain amount of extra time, we are obliged to have a relatively earlier cutt-off for cancellations.
1. Booking

a.

A booking becomes valid for both parties once a 50% deposit of the total cost is paid. The remaining is due in Plettenberg Bay, on the day after your arrival.
|
|
b.
|
On making the booking, you will be sent a booking form with the confirmation. This form must be filled in and returned to us promptly.
|
2. Confirmation, Rates and Payment
|
a.
|
Once the deposit is paid, the requested room (or, if unavailable a room of this category) will be reserved for you. Check-in is after 3 p.m. till 6 p.m on the day of your arrival, and check-out is before 11 a.m. on the day of your departure.
|
|
b.
|
Prices listed on the website may change without notice.
|
|
c.
|
The deposit must be paid into one of the given accounts within 10 days. The remaining amount ( due on the day after your arrival), we prefer to receive in cash, in the local currency, RAND. Payment by credit card is not acceptable.

3. Cancellations
|
a.
|
For cancellations there is a flat rate of 50,- for each booking.
|
|
b.
|
This rate includes normally the retransfer of the deposit
|
|
c.
|
In addition, the percentage of loss of deposit is as follows
|

cancellation less than one month before arrival, 100%
|
|
j.
|
cancellations 1-2 months before arrival, 75%
|
|
k.
|
cancellations 2-3- months before arrival, 25%
|
|
l.
|
cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date, or
|
|
m.
|
failure to arrive on the appointed date payment is expected in full for the
projected stay
|
|
4. Liabilities
|
a.
|
On making a booking, a guest agrees not to claim any damages against Tanah Merah, its owners or employees for any loss or damage that occurs on the premises of 33 Bowtie Drive, or any of its outbuildings.
|
|
b.
|
Guests use the pool at their own risk. Children and guests requiring help when in the water are not allowed to use the pool without supervision.

5. Final Provisions
| a.
|
Breakfast is from 8.30h till 9.30h.
|
|
b.
|
With their booking, a guest agrees to the terms and conditions stated here, and to those listed on the website.
|
|
c.
|
Special arrangements and agreements are possible, but they must have the written consent of your hosts.
|
|
d.
|
